One of my old clients and friend, Jim Wilson, sent me some photos from his African bow hunting safari last month. Jim booked a charter with me over the net many years ago then several more in the following years. When he first contacted me, he told me of all the places he and his buddies fished--Panama, Mexico, Venice, etc. I told him I couldn't offer that type of fishing and told him he might be disappointed. He booked anyway and I am glad he did. Repeat charters must have ment they were at least a little satisfied. He introduced me to some of the nicest guys you could ever want to meet. Most of these guys are hard core fishermen and guys I enjoy fishing with.
Since I quit chartering, I've fished with some of the Okie contingent in Venice, La. (several times) Coiba Island, Panama and lately in Ontario. I'm fishing with several of them in Venice in a few weeks.
Anyhow, here are some of Jim's African victims.
