Additional Information / Boat Review:

Engine Manufacturer, Model, and Horsepower Rating:

Mercury 250 EFI
What do you like and dislike about the engine(s)?

The engine LOVES gasoline....about 1.5 mpg on a good trip.
What type trailer do you have and what do you like and dislike about it?

Magic Tilt aluminum framing. Not a bad trailer.
Is this boat trailerable and if so what type vehicle, at minimum, would you recommend to adequately pull this rig?

I trailer it. I belive my F150 Crew 4X4 is the smallest rig I'd recommend trying to tow with.
How much fuel does the boat hold and what is its approximate range?

Tank is 138 gallons. If I average 1.25 mpg it works out to about 172 miles. I'll likely stay within 120 round trip.
Describe the ride and handling in moderate chop and in rough water:

Entry is good, but it flattens out fairly quick toward the back. Under the right conditions, it'll jar your teeth. Overall I say it's great! I've had it in some slop and it will definitely take more than I can.
If applicable, what type of fishing would you say this rig is best suited for and why?

Offshore fishing because of the size and draft.
Describe the layout of the boat including storage, live wells, lockers and so on:

Cuddy is roomy, but gets cluttered easily. I guess that's the nature of the beast. Nice bait well on the transom along with a sink. It is a true walkaround. We can get by without doing the curly shuffle... Two fish boxes seem to hold ice quite well.
How has the rig held up over time?

For a 1996 model I'd say it's in good condition.
What are some things that you find exceptional about this boat?

Curtains make it totally dry for the driver/passengers of course. Compared to the old 190 it's a much better ride to deeper water.
What are some things you do not like about this boat?

Gas mileage!
Do you know of another manufacturer that makes this same boat under a different name?

No
Would you buy this boat again or recommend it to a friend?

I would.
What would you say this boat is worth in its current condition?

14 - 15 k
What other boat would you have bought for roughly the same money if you had it to do over again and why?

If I could have found a similar sized Grady for about the same money, I'd have gone for it. I like the hull weight on the GWs.
Add any other details or comments you think people should know about this boat if they are considering buying one like it:

NA
