Additional Information / Boat Review:
Engine Manufacturer, Model, and Horsepower Rating:
Yamaha 90hp 4 stroke
What do you like and dislike about the engine(s)?
Yamaha has been a very dependable motor for me, this is the 5th one I have owned and I have never had any problems. The 4 stroke is very quiet and good on gas.
What type trailer do you have and what do you like and dislike about it?
Continental, good quality galv. trailer.
Is this boat trailerable and if so what type vehicle, at minimum, would you recommend to adequately pull this rig?
A small truck would be able to pull this set up, very light.
How much fuel does the boat hold and what is its approximate range?
21 gallon tank, not sure of the range but plenty for any inshore fishing.
Describe the ride and handling in moderate chop and in rough water:
This boat rides very good in a chop. It has an 8 degree vee all the way to the transom so for an 800lb alunimum hull it rides very well.
If applicable, what type of fishing would you say this rig is best suited for and why?
Inshore, Flats, can be used "slightly offshore" on good days.
Describe the layout of the boat including storage, live wells, lockers and so on:
Center console with storage, front deck with livewell and storage, rear deck with gas tank and batteries.
How has the rig held up over time?
Still fairly new, so far so good.
What are some things that you find exceptional about this boat?
Exceptional? Can not think of anything I would describe as that.
What are some things you do not like about this boat?
The inner liner is pop riveted in using less than Exceptional quality pop rivets, I have had to replace a few with Exceptional quality alum. rivets.
Do you know of another manufacturer that makes this same boat under a different name?
No.
Would you buy this boat again or recommend it to a friend?
Yes.
What would you say this boat is worth in its current condition?
$15,500.00
What other boat would you have bought for roughly the same money if you had it to do over again and why?
I am not aware of a v-hull alum. boat in this size and price range with the same dry and comfortable ride.
Add any other details or comments you think people should know about this boat if they are considering buying one like it:
You can purchase mine.
