What do you like and dislike about the engine(s)?
It likes gas. A merc is noisy, and the trim motor sounds raspy, but I guess thats a merc.
What type trailer do you have and what do you like and dislike about it?
Galvanized Magic tilt. Can not say any bad at this time.
Is this boat trailerable and if so what type vehicle, at minimum, would you recommend to adequately pull this rig?
V-8 fullsize truck. I use a Dodge 1500 (no Hemi)
How much fuel does the boat hold and what is its approximate range?
85 gallons, @ 2 MPG bout 170 miles.
Describe the ride and handling in moderate chop and in rough water:
Seems good so far. Only test was a 2 ft less than 3ft quartering sea and managed to still run out at 25. Had a couple small sprays but stayed dry.
If applicable, what type of fishing would you say this rig is best suited for and why?
none
Describe the layout of the boat including storage, live wells, lockers and so on:
Three forward lockers, which are anchor, storage, and fish box, all of really good size. Livewell in front of console is not good, overflow is to small so under power it will spray back. Used one of the stern wells to relocate the live well and close off the other and use it for storage, works much better.
How has the rig held up over time?
Have only had 2 months will have to wait and see.
What are some things that you find exceptional about this boat?
Very wide, 8 1/2 beam, lots of room. Variable deadrise makes ride better.
What are some things you do not like about this boat?
Livewell in front of console will blow back if full.
Do you know of another manufacturer that makes this same boat under a different name?
No, but Key Largo, Palm Beach and Cape Craft all made by same company.
Would you buy this boat again or recommend it to a friend?
Yes, however @ 2400 lbs I can not se a 150 as enough power, I have a 200.
What would you say this boat is worth in its current condition?
20K
What other boat would you have bought for roughly the same money if you had it to do over again and why?
None, came across a very good deal on a demo.
